Bob,

I've tried 3 times on 2 different computers, but I can't get the link to PayPal to work.

Maybe someone should test it.

If I buy 10 tickets of the January drawing ...will you email me the secret from the chat tomorrow night? I will be working my 12 hour shift (6P-6A) and will have to miss the chat

(I'll buy 10 even if you can't) Finding out I won an ornament was great. Thanks. And I hope the next drawing proceeds are even more for the LI club.

Dennis,
I actually never got around to activate the PayPal links yet - I already knew it didn't work. I set that up the other day before the previous raffle ended, so I didn't want 2 going at the same time.
I've been a little backlogged with work lately - sorry about that.
I guess I can try to do it now. It's 2:30 in the morning, but I'll give it a shot. I'll let you know when it's activated.

Kristen,

I did not mean for you to stay up so late setting it up.

I just figured something was wrong and wanted to let someone know.

Thanks for activating it.

Dennis - I didn't mean to make it sound like I stayed up just to activate the PayPal buttons. I appreciate your feedback. It had to be done, and since I was up already, then was as good a time as any.
I really just wanted more of your money anyway! No, I'm just kidding - Thanks for partipating again.

At least the money is going to a good cause.

And I might even get lucky again.

I've got a spot all picked out for tha Alcatraz Ornament on my Lighthouse Christmas Trees. I have 3 small (aprox 2 ft high) trees set up on top of the entertainment center in the LR.

The tree in the midle is a ceramic tree i've had for 20 years and on either side I have a tree with HL Lighthouse Ornaments on them.

I've got all of the ornaments released so far.

Kristen,

I'll try but the only method I know is Photopoint and it's shut down- at least for now.

I'm actually still looking for some 2 ft trees that look nicer than the ones I found last year.

The ornaments are the only thing i have everything of.

Several forum folks in that list. Congratulations Dennis and all the other winners. Hope you enjoy your new additions, and thanks for supporting the LI Chapter.

By the way, Bob, you did tell them all that their prizes were coming freight collect, didn't you?

This is great, I know right where to put it. My wife and I went to Matagorda last week and I gave her the Matagorda LLOM to mark the trip (they don't make a large one). This one can go right next to it. It will mark the first lighthouse I have won. I think I will enter more raffels, now that I have a taste winning. I guess this is siminlar to why I play golf. Every once and a while I make a great shot that even the pro's would talk about and it feels good. However, most of the time the ball can't be found. But, I still have fun and it serves a purpose called relaxation. Even if I never win another lighthouse I know the money goes to a good cause and that is something to feel good about. My thanks to everyone who put on the raffle.

Happt New Year (Year of the Hourse) to all,

Chuck

Got the Horton Point and it looks great next to my wife's LLOM Matagorda which I gave her when we visited the real one.

Thanks to everyone at Long Island Chapter of US Lighthouse Society.
