First I would like to introduce to you the "Anchor Bay Mobile". (Permission has been granted by the Harbour Lights Webmaster to use the Anchor Bay symbol.)

All those who have signed up for Postcard Exchange #9 are automatically entered in the competition. Anyone else who would like to participate must contact me within the next week, but no later than Saturday, March 23, 02. Please email me at biri97@aol.com and include your name and address so I'll know who everyone is.

There will be at least three prizes awarded at the end of the competition. The prizes will be announced at the begining of the contest which will be next Sunday, March 24.

This contest is designed to operate with no more than 52 participants. "First come , first served", and the people signed up for PC Exchange #9 are automatically eligible if they choose to play.

(Disclaimer: This contest is not hazardous to your health. It will strain your brain and force you to visit the Harbour Lights Website and the Collector Forums to search for answers on a regular basis. It will not cause dry mouth, headaches, nausea, athlete's foot, or gas. Things you may consume during this contest might do that though.)

All the information you need to compete will be posted at the Anchor Bay Thread of the Collector Forum.

Ciao!

Is this the Grand Prize Bob or is it the car you drive at work?

Shouldn't it be a "Anchor Bay Prowler"?
Who cares, great car!

Did I tell you about the "Prowler"? Believe it or not, one of my fellow officers is putting together a Plymouth Prowler package that will be the MSP tu-tone blue with all the indignias of one of our regular mark cruisers. There won't be a bar light on it but it will have blue strobes front and rear.

The MSP Prowler will travel to car shows and cruise nights, within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, promoting seat-belt safety and safe driving. This vehicle should be a real eye-catcher and one of the rarest State Police cruisers in the United States.

When the vehicle is ready for the road, I'll take a few pictures and post them. It appears I may be one of the trusted few that will be allowed to use the vehicle.

The Anchor Bay Mobile & PC#9 Contest will be starting this week. Unfortunately, I haven't mailed my postcards with your numbers on them yet, but I will make every attempt to get them out in the next day or so.

Watch this thread for further details.

My postcards for exchange #9 were mailed this afternoon. Each postcard has a three-digit number in the lower left corner. This will be your ID# for the contest.

The number of prizes awarded will depend on the number of people participating. All answers to questions asked during the contest can be found at the Harbour Lights Website or at the Collector Forums. All questions will be posted in the Anchor Bay Thread.

Only one person, outside of PC Exchange #9, took advantage of my offer to allow others to participate. The numbers range from 001-025. Larry, you will be #025. If anyone else is interested, email me immediately before I start asking questions or giving clues, which will probably towards the end of this week.

Watch this thread for further details!

We've added another player to the Anchor Bay PC Exchange #9 Contest! Amanda, you're #026!

If anyone else is interested, please contact me at biri97@aol.com and I'll issue you an ID#. The contest will be starting soon so don't delay!

Ok, now that I figured out which postcard is the correct one for this contest (a little confusion over what exchange Bob mailed postcards for), can you tell me exactly when this contest is starting?

Really enjoyed the last contest and am looking forward to participating in this one. Don't want to miss it!!

I received your card with my number for this contest and I'd really like to play, but I'll be away all next week, so is there any chance of making the first cutoff date after April 6? Just a humble request.

Well, Ladies, ...you have your wish. I have been extremely busy this weekend and I may not be able to get the contest up and running till later this week. Even if you're away this week, you will still have plenty of time to get your answers in to be eligible to win a prize.

The prizes this time are similar to the last contest. There will be a "Bob Younger Memorial Tree", a 2002 Harbour Lights Calendar, and package of 20 different lighthouse postcards. I might even throw in another Mass State Police Flag Pin if we have enough people participate. First place gets first choice of a prize, second place gets second choice, and third place gets the third choice.

Speaking of the MSP Flag Pin, someone told me there was one on eBay and the bid was at $15.50 at that time. I don't know what the final bid was but I sell them for $5.00 each with the proceeds going towards a law enforcement memorial they are planning to construct in Boston. If you are interested in purchasing a pin, email me at biri97@aol.com . Total cost with mailing would probably be $6.00.
