As long as I had only one dog, I never noticed anything. Now that I have two, Buffy, my Shih Tzu will start howling for no reason at all; then, of course, Mila will join. They started again last night and are doing it tonight. It can be rather spooky since I am unable to hear anything out of the ordinary - and my hearing is pretty good.
