Here we spell white, "wet." We don't get white Christmases. But we did set a rainfall record today. The old record for this date (12/27) was 2.3 inches in 1890 something. The past 24 hours has given us 5.61 inches. Lots of local flooding. Fortunately we're on a mountainside, so no problems here. Have to drive through 6" of water in one spot to get to town. Won't go to town much for a couple of days (tomorrow supposed to be as bad).

Watch out back there in snow country. 5.61" of rain sounds like lots of snow.
