I don't believe that either. The "Credit Crunch" surely does not help. And the demand on grain and other food stuffs is getting huge. What with states like China buying more and more.

The price hikes all round are a global problem I think. Here too ... $10.63 for #87 yesterday ...

And the price of bread has risen by 80% in the last 18 months ...
