Any thoughts of early retirement and drawing your Social Security at 62 (before the gov't figures out how to deflate it)??
I could have retired and collected a state pension 15 years ago. I chose to keep on working which has made an extremely large difference in what I can collect when I do pull the plug. As far as SS is concerned, my benefits from previous employment has been cut to about 1/3 of what I could have collected if they didn't pass that law sticking it to people with state pensions from the baby boomer set.

I enjoy my work and I live only 5.5 miles from my barracks, I have a "company car", a company gas card, they dress me for free, and I have a ton of time off. God bless America!

Retirement? Maybe at the end of the year, time will tell.
