Well the Crossfire is still in my driveway. Does that tell you anything?

I spoke with the guy who does most of the buying for my dealer. He's coming down to appraise my Corvette on Friday morning. I think this is pretty much a done deal at this point. I expect the Vette will be gone and my "NORTH" plate will be on the XFire next week.

It will be fun to have a roadster (convertible) in the family again. I had a couple of convertibles when I was younger, a 62 Chevy Impala and a 65 Chevy Impala. This Crossfire will be the best of the bunch with it's 6-speed manual transmission and all the options. It has plenty of power and a blast to drive. Most owners report 25-30 mpg on the highway, and 20-25 around town. Those figures can decrease rapidly if you start putting your right foot to the floor.

I can wait to get a warm day or two so I can drop the top!
