Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Harbour Lights ordered their lights in batches back then. Now if the edition size was 5500, did they order approximately 2750, then ordered the other 2750 or so after the originals were being sold by the dealers? Or did they get more than two batches?

There's a lot of history to be discovered here. The release of the Founder's Collection has certainly brought up some interesting points that need clarification.

No matter what gets answered or goes unanswered, owning pieces from Bill's original "hold backs" is quite an honor for true collectors. How often do you get the opportunity to purchase a favorite collectible that is many years old and is actually brand new in the box. There's no flaws in the nine pieces I received. They are mint!
