A good question. You think this subject would have been discussed long before now. We touched on this just a little last year, When BobM mentioned it. He got no response. I think either HL did poor planning for the future when they did their numbering or they never planned on Limited editions going this far. I remember Bill saying that he only started the LE’s because that was the only way that they could sell lighthouses. I personally feel that Harbour Lights likes the open editions and probably planned on eventually dissolving the LE’s and switch totally to open editions. But because of the strength of their collectors could never morally dissolve the LE’s.
