Tawas Point, MI (#152), this was my first Harbour Light and the start of my obession. I had started a collection of Spoontiques (hold on - no need to start a lynch-mob over the name ) of the lighthouses we had seen while in Michigan. As most know, you can walk up to Tawas Point Lighthouse, but can't go inside. We walked around that cold May morning taking our pictures and went to town to purchase the light to only find that none were available. When we got home I searched on the web and found the HL Tawas on eBay. After a bunch of mad bidding at the last minute, I think I paid about $120.00 for the beaut. I have it on one of my glass shelves and know that it's detail that sold me on HL's forever.
