Recently I returned from my second trip in the last six months to Northern Europe. My daughter and her family (husband and two children) moved to Denmark last fall so my wife and I have gone over twice (so far) to visit and sightsee. We have seen a lot of great sights and places but have also done a fair amount of lighthousing in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Netherlands.

I thought I would share some of my photos of some of the more interesting lighthouses in these countries. This episode will be lighthouses in Denmark and I will follow up in the future with photos of lighthouses in the other countries mentioned above.

First is Skagen Light, the tallest light in Denmark:

This is Fornaes Light:

Gjerrild Light:

Skagens Rev Lightship located in Ebeltoft:

And Sletterhage Light:

I'll continue on the next post.
