Need some advice on most worthwhile lighthouses to see in southwest of England from land. We'll be heading over there in early September and more or less traveling in a circle over 10 days, with the first night's stay and second to last being more inland/away from major water ways. We'll be staying in Castle Combe, Thornbury, Bath, Lynton, Penzance 2 nights, Dartmoor, Salisbury, and then London.

I have some lighthouse maps and good websites to reference, so I know overall what's there and where. It's more a matter of that we have a fairly full itinerary already, and I'll be traveling with a not overly lighthouse enthusiastic companion (and he doesn't like to get on boats either). So, it will be more a matter of sneeking in some of the most worthwhile lighthouses that can be seen by land so he doesn't notice so much for this trip. smile If anyone has recommendations based on personal experience, please let me know.

Thanks!
