If you find something on the Internet, it does not mean it is in the 'public domain'. It is best to provide a link to something you like on the net rather than copy an image and include the image directly into your post.

Another 'tribute' has been posted today and this is a link to a series of photographs from 9/11.

The linked-to item is admittedly a collection of photographs collected from newspaper sites on the Internet. Each of these images is copyrighted by the individual newspaper.

While the motive of providing a 'tribute' may be worthy, it just isn't legal, no matter how great the tragedy.

The Forum rule: post a link to anything you want. Include copy only if you wrote it; include an image only if you took it or have the permission of the person who took it.
