We have made a choice ... let me tell you why first
It was Labor Day Weekend in 2002 and we were driving along the Texas Coast with a list of lighthouses we wanted to see. We had already seen Half Moon Reef and Lydia Ann Channel light and Point Bolivar and now we had reached Galveston. We "knew" there was a lighthouse there and we wanted to see it. We searched and searched ... too proud to ask anyone ... and when we finally did ... well you all know what happened ...
in May 2000 the lighthouse had been blown over by a storm.
