· The Long Island Chapter’s next meeting will be Thursday, April 5. The meeting place is not yet finalized, but will be published on the web site soon. US Lighthouse Society President Wayne Wheeler will be our guest speaker, and there will also be updates on our projects, including photos from inside the endangered Cedar Island and Plum Island lighthouses. http://www.longislandlighthouses.com/uslhs/index.htm There will be a raffle to help pay for the obtaining and transferring of the blueprints for Plum Island lighthouse from microfiche to paper. Harbour Lights has donated Limited Edition Eddystone, Sister’s Island and Marshall Point, and Rick Mau has donated a signed Montauk LH Ornament for a raffle.
