hi, We are the owners of Middle Ground Light. I will try to keep you posted on our renovation. All work has been pre-approved by the Historic Preservation Board. The inside is about 80% complete. The new galley will be here Aug 15th. The heart pine floors are being refinished this week. The outside will be completed by the end of next summer. It was very inspirational seeing your family working on the Lighthouse! It's wonderful to hear that it is a family 'labor of love' which also secures it continued maintenance through future generations.
Let us know if there is anything we can do? We are very lighthouse friendly as you can see.
