Well if Orv's post about the Simpsons counts, then do not forget two other episodes with Lighthouses. One has Bart seeing Rev. Lovejoy's daughter for the first time and she is surrounded by a glow shining in the window. The camera pans out of the building and you see the "Sea Captain" and another guy on top of a lighthouse. The other guy asks "Wouldn't the light work better if it was pointed out to sea?" The "Sea Captain" replies, "That it would, but I hate the sea and everything in it." over his shoulder you see a freighter crashing on the rocks.
In the second episode, Homer is looking for his soulmate. After walking around town Homer ends up on the beach and sees the light from the lighthouse and decides to befriend the lonely lightkeeper. When he gets to the lighthouse, there is a sign that says "This Light kept by E.A.R.L." Homer thinks his new friend's name is Earl. E.A.R.L. stand for Electirc Automated Robotic Light. When Homer finds out the lighthouse is empty, he gets mad and smashes the light. Marge shows up and together they relace the bulb, but not in time to keep a ship full of "Hot pants" from hitting the rocks.
