HL did just that with Gay Head by including the keeper's cottage to great effect (earning it rare "Wow™" status). I wouldn't mind seeing them do more pieces like this.

The only problem with sculpting lighthouses that no longer exist is that no one can visit them. In other words, there can be no physical relationship between the piece and the real light. That may hurt sales.

The thing that got me into HL in the first place was seeing Pemaquid and saying, "Wow, I've been there and that's EXACTLY the way it looks, right down to the brick."

HL would have to choose wisely.
