Interesting how many ships appear to still be preserved. I looked at a few of the ships I am aware of or have visited. It is disappointing that there is no mention made of what ships you can visit. Wouldn't expect detailed hours and costs, but a notation that you can visit would get you to look at their web site or Facebook page. In some cases there i interesting history that is not shared. One that I am familiar with is LST 325 now in Evansville, IN. I find it interesting that a volunteer group went to Crete to retrieve the ship when the Greek navy decommissioned it. They got things up and running and sailed the ship first to Gibraltar then across the Atlantic to Mobile, AL. I have seen stories of that whole adventure and it is interesting. I think it is unfortunate that at least a small blip about this wasn't included in their history.

Still, this is an interesting site that does provide a lot of listing and very helpful lists of old retired ships that are still out there.
