This is a private aid to navigation. The Florida Keys Reef Lights Foundation provided pictures for the model. I believe only 500 were made. Several models had the palm tree leaves break. A couple years ago the owner sold the property and the new owner painted the RED sections BLUE. On past lighthouse trips we had the boat pull up next to the lighthouse. The private lighthouse was built in 1959 and the lantern room is from Rebecca Shoal, so part of the lighthouse is an official US lighthouse.
