Lighthouses like the Michigan City and Minot's Ledge had many versions of water colors. I asked Kim why so many versions and she stated that they kept on trying and couldn't get the color right. Finally HL gave up and would only color the water blue. The green water in real live is caused by Algae.

Other Green water version were the Barnegat and New London Ledge.
