Have to agree with you there, Roland. Wonder if the park supt is new (or newer) to the job and is essentially showing his power? Sounds like the park people are at least party to the blame if their installed fire alarm system was not working correctly and they refused to fix it or even return calls. Doesn't sound like they were that interested in maintaining the partnership and were just looking for reasons to not renew. They are kicking the experienced and competent group to the curb in favor of what? We know they don't have the resources or desire to manage the property and it could bode poorly for the light. Hope that is not the case. Surprised the current group isn't challenging the park supt on his action - would think they would have a fair amount of support on their side.
