Hey Mel, glad to hear I'm not the only Stove Top stuffing cooker, lol!

We went to a neighbor's house and her stuffing was made with gluten free bread. It actually turned out better than what she usually makes (once I dug it out of the bird). We were sitting at the table and I was looking around for the stuffing and couldn't spot it.

Some of that gluten free stuff is ok, if you spice it up with something - the stuffing, pasta with lots of stuff plus cheese. But I've had her cakes and on T'giving the pie crusts which were pretty bad. Her daughter made a g. f. cranberry bread that was wonderful. Guess it's a trial and error kind of thing. This neighbor is now 85 and suddenly this past year became gluten intolerant. Sure hope it doesn't happen to me!
