A few of us are doing as much as we can to help those affected by Sandy. There are so many bad contractors ripping folks off with outragous prices. Most homes west of Barnegat Bay should be habitable between late December and late January. Unfortunately most of the homes on the barrier islands will take a few more months past that. Not sure what the time frame is for the homes that were totally leveled.

This was only a Category 1 hurricane. I can't imagine what a storm like Katrina would have done. Philly would become a coastal city.

Sandy hit the Jersey coast at the same time as high tide and on the same night as a full moon.
