Ribbon cutting ceremony on the grand opening of the new building housing the Fire Island Lens is Friday night a 530pm. I happened to see a friend of mine at a wedding Saturday who painted the base of the light, He had some preview photos in his camera of the lens. I'll have to make some time to visit in the new future after the crowds die down.
