Sure, Margret! Is there another name for the "Old Mole"?

I ran into a blurb on "The Lightship" made in 1986. It was supposedly filmed on the Lightship Hatteras. However, all I can find on this ship is that it was in service back in the 1800's and was replaced by Diamond Shoal Tower. Anyone know anything about this? Sounds as if a newer ship (or a replica of one) was used.
