As a current active duty member of the USCG, I can say that I enjoyed the movie. It actually got my heart racing a few times, and reminded me of many SAR calls I have been out on. Even though I am a "boat guy" and not a "rotorhead" , I enjoyed it very much.

Actually, the USCG has a Motion Picture Division that was VERY involved in the production - just to make sure things were as close to accurate as possible...
