Sorry, this is kind of backwards. This was the second half of the afternoon, from the boat trip in the UP, cruising the western side of the Keweenaw Peninsula.

Eagle Harbor Lighthouse. This was taken with my 200mm lens.

Eagle River Lighthouse. This little light has been a private residence since 1919. They built condos right in front of it a few years ago and it makes it hard to see from the water. This was shot with my 200mm lens and a 1.4x teleconverter.

Here is a bit closer up shot of Eagle River, taken a couple days before the boat trip.

Sand Hills Lighthouse, now currently a bed and breakfast.

Sand Hills, taken a couple days before the boat tour.

And the Keweenaw Upper Entranceway light, built around 1920 and it marks the north entrance to the Portage Canal, which divides the Keweenaw Peninsula from the rest of Michigan.

If you would like to see different views of these lights, click on my Online Galleries link and look in the Upper Peninsula folder.

More to come in the next couple days...
