Nice photo Carol! Jakers and I went to see this one last fall/winter? It was pretty cold that day whenever it was! It was the first time I'd found the way right up to the lighthouse. I did hear in May at a fundraiser for it's twin, acually it's triplet, the one at Verona Beach, that a group had formed.

For those who don't know, or forgot, these lighthouses are on Oneida Lake in CNY. They are active lights without lantern rooms maintained by NY State. The third lighthouse is tough to see without a boat as it's on Frenchman's Island. A steel tower has been added to it's top as the trees have grown so tall. It can be seen distantly from shore. These lights date to around 1918.
