Lonnie,
Counts with me. We were in the Florida Keys last week and took the ferry to Fort Jefferson. The original cement base and brick surrounding the base are still viewable inside the Fort and Stan took a photograph of me standing at the base. (When we got it developed, the look on my face appears to be saying "Hey! It was here just a minute ago.") I'm counting that shot and the shot of the still-standing Fort Jefferson Light as two separate lights.
The 64' white skeletal tower that replaced the original Rebecca Shoal lighthouse was lost in Hurricane Charlie, but a beacon is attached to what remains of the base and it's still used as a navigation marker.
We also took a plane ride (4-seater Cesna) and got pictures of 5 offshore lights--that part of the trip was thrilling and I'm afraid of heights!
