I was sad when Bill called and told me of the change. However, by the end of the conversation I was happy for him and Nancy and wished them both good health. I also pitched an idea for a grand Texas get-together at Matagorda (newly renovated and very striking) with all the Texas Clubs. There are three (3) now in existence. He received that with a very positive attitude. You see they missed Texas this year but after his first stroke I thought that may happen and things would slow down some. I am willing to give Don all the support I can from Houston. After all he knows about the forum and sent a note. That’s Aces in my book. Maybe we could get Don to join us at Matagorda.
