The numbering system you are talking about, is what Kim Andrews refers as “Place Setting”
This was done by the factory without the approval of Harbour Lights. It is found in the double and triple digit Southern Bells, a handfull of L.E.'s and some GLOWS. An “8” and a “008” is a single digit number. Remember 0 is the absents of a number. I feel that you should be able to call your “008” a single digit and expect the same value as an “8”. A matter of fact you may ask more since “Place settings” are rare when you come to Limited Editions.

Out of 300 L.E. and about half of them double digits I only have three that has the 00 before the digits and one is a three digit
