I'm from Minneapolis, where a drive of just several hours yields access to Duluth and its several lights (North and South Outer Breakwater Lights), Split Rock Light near Two Harbors, MN, and the 9 lights of Door County, Wisconsin.

Split Rock is everything the various lighthouse books say it is, and is well worth the trip. To see it perched up on the cliff, viewed from below on the rocks, is to gaze upon the pyramids....(well, almost!)

Door County includes amongst its 9 lights Sturgeon Bay Canal Light and Cana Island Light. With Split Rock, that's 3 which are represented by HL pieces. It's interesting to compare the orginal with the sculpture.
