If you got married in 1991 would you have your first year anniversary in 1991 or 1992?
A whole year needs to pass before you can celebrate a yearly anniversary. Harbour Lights couldn’t have their first year anniversary the very same year they started, so we start with 1992 as the first year. That is the time for one year to pass.

The easiest way to figure out an anniversary is to add the amount of years you are celebrating. If harbour Lights started in 1991 and they want to celebrate their 20th anniversary just add 20 to the date. 1991 plus 20 equal 2011. If the Youngers started their business in Febuary 22 of 1991 than their 20th anniversary would be Febuary 22 of 2011
