A great big THANKS to everyone for wishing me a Happy Birthday. Larry and I went down to Indianapolis for the weekend to spend it with our two daughters who live there. Friday night we went to a really wonderful Italian restaurant called Maggiano's near the Fashion Mall. Then we went back to our oldest daughter Elizabeth's house where we enjoyed cake and I opened gifts. Saturday morning we went spend in downtown Indy because our two daughters ran in the Susan G. Komen 'Run For the Cure' race. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. And although I had a terrific time my best gift came from my absolutely wonderful husband. He told me when I turned '50', which I did on Friday, I could retire from nursing....yes! But he also bought me a longarm quilting machine and is helping me get a home-based quilting business started. I am absolutely so excited and I can hardly wait to get my new machine. So turning 50 has not been all that bad,I had a harder time with 40, and hey I can go join one of those RED HAT clubs now.
Well, wanted to thank everyone for their wishes and I am looking forward to the next time I meet each of you at some lighthouse event or two.

God Bless You,
Kat
