I turned 48 yesterday and went to the store to buy my own birthday presents.
I bought Point Vicente Lens 3rd Order and Fresnel Lens 4th Order.
My family does not mine me buying my own gifts, since they don't know what I already have or what I still want.

I went to a local store that I have been to before but this is the first time I have purchased something. Even though my HLs came in the original boxes, some of the other collectables that I purchased for family members, as Christmas gifts, did not. One of the items didn't even have the Certificate of Authenticity with it. They had three of the four lenses out of one of the sets of Christmas ornaments on display. When I asked if they had the fourth one, I was told that they split up the set to sell sperately and that I could buy the three that were left. I declined and said I would purchase them somewhere else where I could get the whole set.They didn't seem to know much about any of the items they are selling. They have a lot of items in their store, Most everything that my family members collect, but I will really have to think about going there agian.

I buy most of my HLs from my dealer, but when I walk into a collectables store and they have a HL display, I just can't resist buying at least one item.
