Many of you will recognize the names of Michael and Karen Power who are regulars on these forums.
Many months ago, she had some Harbour Lights she was selling and I emailed her asking why she was selling.
One email led to many after finding out that her Father was not well, had suffered a stroke, had difficulty speaking, and had come to live with them.
They were long messages and a sharing of ideas. One I made was to get her Dad on-line. He could be involved in hobbies without anyone knowing his speech was impared.
Friday I received an email from her saying her Dad had passed away early that morning.
"I thought you would also want to know that my father passed away early this
morning. We take great comfort in know he is with his Lord. He is probably making up for lost time and talking up a storm. And he is with his two beautiful wives."
Michael & Karen Power live in Thomasville Pennsylvania and the funeral was in Dayton OH.
May God comfort them in their loss, and rejoice with them as Dad's handicaps fell away as he left this earth.
