Judy - I'm not really sure if the base is attached or not. I saw the pictures of the Artist Proofs and don't really remember seeing a base, but, I was so excited to finally see them done that I may have looked at the base and not even seen it. Maybe Tony can answer that question or someone more in the know then me.
