Just to help clarify things.

The lightship that is currently in New Bedford is the Nantucket 1/WLV 612. That is the one that is owned by the Goldens who purchased it on ebay. I spoke with Art Motta who is the director of the New Bedford Waterfront Visitors Center and he confirmed this info. He stated that they must be having some further work done on it. He was unsure whether or not it ever made it to Nantucket.

The Nantucket 2/WLV 613 is also privately owned by a John Baker I believe. We think that one's in Wareham.

Now we were in Wareham but I didn't go looking for it as I thought it was the one we had just seen in New Bedford!

So I'm assuming that the one Roxie saw was the Nantucket 2, unless that one was off somewhere else and the Nantucket 1 was there a month ago!

This sure isn't easy. The only thing I know for sure now is that I've seen the Nantucket 1 twice now, once in Marina Bay, Quincy before it was sold and June 28th in New Bedford. And I have never seen the other two Nantucket lightships!
