Sorry I had not seen this thread before. The "gold" one Paul shows was created by me for the special "Bill Younger Screwpile Dedication Event" held at Thomas Point on Sept 14, 2007.

They were made from the regular Little Light, not from the limited edition ones offered about that time from Calvert Marine Museum. They were simply spray painted with gold paint.

50 pieces were prepared; 35 were distributed to those in attendance at the Bill Event. The 35 included a special bottom label "Signed at Thomas Point Lighthouse 9/14/2007" with Bill's signature. Each was enclosed in a glass dome on a walnut base with a special 'coaster' inside the dome commemorating the event.

The fact that the gold one in Paul's comparison images above seems taller/shorter than the other two I think is attributable to manufacturing of the metalwork pieces and assembly variations in different production runs.

John,
Didn't you at one time have some for sale?
Are any still available?
