I've completed reformatted and updated the information on This Little Light of Mine at www.HarbourLights.com/LittleLights/

This includes a complete list and pictures of all 114 Little Lights arranged by Regions.

Enjoy.

Excellent work, John. The previous setup was getting unwieldy. This simplifies it immensely.

The Little Lights must have really caught on.

Well Done John. I printed out a copy immediately. I think this is one of the best formats I've seen yet.

Thanks for all that you do for all of us.

Like I had nothing else to do this Saturday so I made up individual pages on each of the 114 Little Lights. Now when you go to either the Table page or the Regional pages, you can click and view the individual page which includes a bit larger image than is shown on the Regional pages.

All the Little Lights images are revised from those up last week. A bit sharper thanks to Patton Brothers, Harbour Lights' excellent graphic arts firm responsible for most of the printed goods from our HL friends.

Nice Job John. I just printed out the complete list so I can check off the ones I have with intentions of getting the ones I don't have. This condo is getting too small.

Just curious if anyone is collecting these Little Lights who is NOT collecting Limited Editions? If you are, and have a display of them, I'd like to see a photo of your display.

As I looked thru all the little fellows, I noticed a few Little lights that Harbour Lights has not released as regular editions in the original line. Are these previews of good things to come?
East Brother, CA.
Point Reyes, CA.
Point Vicente, CA.
Turkey Point, MD.
Matagorda, TX.
St. Johns River, FL.

Mark,

That's a wonderful marketing tool for Harbour Lights to entice you to get into purchasing Little Lights. They don't have to try too hard for me to jump in and get them. I swore that I wasn't going to get any of the GLOWs (and I did) and then I promised that I wouldn't get the Little Lights (and I am). When does the addiction stop??

Mark - Harbour Lights did announce when the Little Lights were introduced that there would come a time when some lights that had not been done as limited editions would be made.

I believe (not on any official basis) that HL is counting on the local market for some of these Little Lights. The risk in sculpting them and producing them is certainly less than for a Limited Edition so they can satisfy a regional market for a light like St. Johns River FL or Matagorda TX.

East Brother has been difficult to sculpt to Harbour Lights' high standards for Limited Editions. I'm sure there will come a time when it will be done and released as an LE.

I have been hoping for East Brother for a long time but thought that since it was so similar to Pt. Fermin that it would be a long time coming. But I keep on waiting, maybe I'll have to break down and buy the East Brother LLOM (trying to keep from collecting another line, gonna wear out that little magnetic strip on my credit card)

Hi John,

I do collect the Little buggers and do not collect other harbor lights or should I say yet :-)I only have the first set to date but would be glad to take pictures of it for you if you are intrested. I also have the display stand in which you find them on in stores but I can't tell how I got it or I might not get another for the other sets :-)
E-mail me @penny1058@snet.net if you want the pics.

Penny

Thanks John for the list, I just sat here and copied from a web sight the first 176 with the intentions of making a data base to track the little buggers. This is a great help and I am hoping to be able to copy and paste the info into my data base. Even if I can't copy & paste I at least have accurate info now.

By the way does anyone know why theres no number128????

Thanks a bunch,
Penny

Usually a 'missing' number indicates and item that is still in the works - it may have run into complications in production and gotten delayed, but it will arrive sometime.

Thanks John, that makes sense to me. Sorry I am kinda new to Harbor lights. Ask me about Leftons and I can answer most anything :-)I also have some spoontiques. Bill got me started when he came here for a NELL event with the little lights, now I am hunting down pieces such as the Fresnel lens I received today. It was found sitting in a store window waiting for a home!!! I was looking at posts where people are paying 300 for them, not me, got mine for $80.00 + shipping. Sorry collectors,it was all alone.

Thanks again John,
Penny

Welcome Penny! You are now one of the family members of "Harbour Lights" collectors. Glad to see that you picked up a mighty fine HL Fresnel Lens piece, at retail to boot! Good for you! This is a great piece to find as one of your first HL pieces.

As you have indicated, all you have to do is look around...why pay exborant prices.

I don't think much of Lefton or any of the other brands, however I am not going to bash them, they just arn't for me as the HLs are so finely detailed and are worth ever cent of their SRP. I truly hope you consider purchasing more HLs and especially the the 2 new Fresnel lenses that are coming out in early 2002.

With Harbour Lights, you can't go wrong!

Christopher
