OK, now that the cat is out of the bag, so to speak, and folks are finally starting to see images of the latest HL pieces (June Introductions) ..... I have 1 question and 1 comment about the 7 new LLOMs which were introduced. Question: Since there is a HL regional event in Portland, ME this coming October and now we have a release of 7 new LLOMs, will a "special" set of these 7 Maine Lighthouses be offered at the October event similiar to the Chesapeake Lighthousing Challenge offered in 2004 by the Calvert Maritime Museum with a special label? Comment: 4 of the 7 new LLOMs are introductions without a LE pre-existing. If Harbour Lights (Lighthouse Marketing) is listening, please, please make these 4 into LEs in the future! At the very least, Isle Au Haut should be made into an LE because of its popularity with tourist and being located next to part of Acadia National Park. The 4 LLOMs without a pre-existing LE are: -LL277 Wood Island, ME -LL280 Isle Au Haut, ME -LL281 Petit Manan, ME -LL282 Spring Point Ledge, ME All 7 of the Maine LLOMs are AWESOME and are a welcome to my collection ! Thank YOU!

I think it would be really cool if the Maine LLOM's were offered as a special set. Dave, do you know if that is in the works?

That would be really great if they were in a special set for the Maine Regional. I haven't been collecting the Little Lights but after getting the Round Island and Waugoshance at the Reunion on Mackinaw Island they are so well done that I think I will start collecting the ones that I have seen. And I know I want the Maine Little Lights.

So what do you think ... Dave?
Is this even a possibility? Not to open up a huge discussion or more work on the part of the event planning committee, I was just wondering.

Too much of a coincidence! This was my first thought when I saw the releases. And all are on the bus/boat tour. Bob

Those Little Lights were in production before HL knew there was going to be a Maine Regional. But it is a nice coincidence.
What do Little Lights and Beanie Babies have in common?

I must have been thoroughly treated from my earlier 1997-1999 addition of Beanie Babies, cause I have several boxes of them I would love to say ...'bye bye too'
LLOMs on the other hand, I don't really have an addition to those either, but if I had to choose, LLOMs would win no hands down!
I give up... what does LLOM and Beanies have in common....

Bill and Kim told me recently that when they saw the frenzy over 'collecting' Beanie Babies @ $6 each, they knew they had to have a product line that could sell at a lower price.
They couldn't get the price as low as they wanted. Found out just as they were bringing out the line that they were beating Lefton to the market by about a month.

That was close! Don't you know Lefton just loved it! Surely they were forewarned somehow.

Glad HL beat them to the punch. Congrats Hilari , on making Super Wacko!! Knew you could do it before Tidewater. I've been away from CF for a week or so, so this is a "little" belated.
