Didn't know if I should start a new topic for this, but I am a newbie, so I will use that as an excuse!
Just recieved my Sea Girt, a gift from my wife! I am a member of the Collectors Society but thought I missed the deadline for ordering Sea Girt. Well I did miss it but my wife didn't, Hooray! I love it. It's great. And to top it off it had a low number - 145. So am thrilled, and just wanted to share it with you guys.
Take Care,
QC

Congratulations QC. Sea Girt is one of my favorites, too. Maybe even my most favorite.

Not too far from Sea Girt, Bottomfeeder. Perkasie, Pa is about 1 hr NW of Phila, so maybe a little over two hours drive. Barnegat is the furthest north of the NJ lighthouses I have visited . Two weeks ago was at Cape May. Last October was at Hereford. In two weeks will be at Barnegat.(my favorite) See if I can talk the family in going up to Sea Girt. All 9 of us go to LBI for a 1 week vacation. It's hard to talk everybody to go LH hunting with Dad. Hope you get your Sea Girt soon.
Take care,
QC

QC, if you want to tour inside Sea Girt it is only open Sunday afternoons...between 1 and 4 I think.

Yes Bill, all good things do come to those who wait. It's practically a motto that all HL collectors live by.

Sea Grit is a beautiful piece, nicely detailed.

QC,
Sea Girt is a great piece. I think it is the only one in my collection that I have not visited in person.

Good Day Everyone,
Sea Girt is in such a lovely neighborhood. I have to return as my camera was broken last Nov. when I was there. Return trip planned for the end of Oct.'99. The HL piece seems to beckon to me from the curio, "come back". Hope to see all the others in that area as well.

Yeasterday, I just got a letter in the mail from HL saying that my Sea Girt had been delayed until September, but what really got me was that they had enclosed a Bodie Island Book mark. All right who told them that Bodie was my favorite light?

Weasel,

It must have been the spirit of Bob.

Weasel,
I am in agreement with Joanne, must have been Bob looking down over you.

Since Bob was Bill's prodigal brother, he could be looking up, instead of down over you, Weasel.

If anyone in the Central Florida/Orlando/UCF area is looking for a Sea Girt, I found two today. Unfortunately neither store mails pieces. But if you live nearby and are interested, let me know. One store also had HL ornaments at 50% off.
