There appears to be a variation on Fourteen Foot Bank,DE. In the small picture on the event page from the HL web site it shows a line from the silver block and tackle to the front angled mast. If you click on the link to the larger picture the line from the block to the front angled mast is not present. My piece does not have the line. In addition the picture on the dealer event post card mailer shows the line. At last weekends event I did notice others without this line but do not remember seeing any with it.
Those of you who have this piece please post your findings. Does your Fourteen Foot Bank have or not have the line from the silver block and tackle to the front angled mast. Perhaps this was a MFG change before release?

Mine does not have the line either. On the side of the block facing the slanted mast I have about 1/8" of line hanging out and not going anywhere. The slanted mast has a hole in it but nothing going to it. It sure seems like the line should be tied off to that slanted mast. I really can't tell anything by the pictures. It will be something to look for in future instore events.

Rich,
Mine is the same as you have described with the small amount of leader and a whole in the end of the slanted mast.

I've been away quite a bit this summer. I don't know if I received that piece yet. I'll have to check some of the unopened boxes and report back. Bob

Welcome back BOb. It's about time you show up on the forums. I didn't get that light so I can't help with the looks. Bert

I contacted Harbour Lights and was told the "missing Line" was a pre-production change. The latest Lighthouse Depot Catalog does picture the piece with the line so perhaps the AP's have it.Maybe some regular production pieces made it out of the factory with it as well.

Harbour Lights doesn't do AP's of event lighthouses so the chances are very slim of finding that variation.. Maybe just the paint proof shown in the picture!
