I am amazed that no one has commented on this lighthouse with it's great history. It also was one of my favorites to shoot with it's wonderful rough age texture and aged paint job.
It truly looks as though it was the first screw-pile lighthouse in the world and the predecessor to the Thomas Point and Middle Bay Lighthouses...
It has made me consider re-arranging all of my screw-pile lighthouses and display them together.
Onward to The Land of the Midnight Sun!

I'll be the first then...I spent last night researching it and looking up its former site on Google Earth...I like it, especially its small footprint, and plan on buying one and displaying it w/my Florida screwpiles.

I also like it and I'm not especially fond of the International Series. I think it is the best so far as the International issues so far. Also, fantastic detailed pictures, as always.
