Good Thursday Afternoon!

Let me address one question that has come up in several emails.

Will "auto-ship" Collectors receive their "auto-ship" # for Jordan Point?

At this writing, the answer is no! Less than 50% of the "auto-ship" numbers have been redeemed! As an "FYI" , we do not have a record of everyone's "auto-ship" # - in recent years, the "auto-ship' program has been constantly changing. What we do know is what Dealer receives which "auto-ship" #.

I did order 500 pieces, of Jordan Point, which is the factory minimum. Remember this is a numbered - limited edition. Let's say only 125 redemptions are received - why would I want to redeem Edition #212? It is not how it works, especially for this Replica. Read the insert card!

On a "spread sheet" we are keeping track by date of redemptions.

What I do know is as of this writing, many Jordan Point Replicas will be destroyed based on the redemption rate. This indeed may be a very low edition size.

Just an observation, different dealers received their second summer shipments at different times.
Therefore, giving some people an early advantage.
I know dealers in Mass got shipments several weeks before some in other areas. So if the distribution of the Jordan Point piece is by redemption, shouldnt't there have been a starting date to level the playing field?

What "Early Advantage" are you talking about? If you are an autoship collector you will not get your autoship number and if your not autoship, what does it matter when the dealers got their pieces in and when you sent your redemption card in? Serial number XXX of this piece won't be worth any more then serial number yyy. What's the difference whether you get serial number 45 or serial number 145? Why can't we collectors just be satisfied that we are going to be getting a low edition piece regardless of what the serial number is as a gift from HLs?

I agree with Rich..... especially if the limited edition is potential crazy low, like 50 or 100, depending on how many redemption cards are received by the home office. Heck, it could be something insanely nuts like a total of "38"!

Tony, said himself in another thread that 800 of these would be made, due to the minimum ordering requirement. The number of pieces between the number of redemptions (unknown at this time) and the 800 (that were manufactured) would (or should) be destroyed, making this indeed a rare HL edition.

So to me, an individual number wouldn't mean nothing cause all the Jordan pieces remaining would be (or should be) rather sought-after. Remember the Bailey Range Lights.... and that was an edition of 500. Seems to me even in these low economic times, the Baily Range lights would be a fairly sought-after item by a collector that doesn't already own them.

So on that note, are there any APs made of Jordan Point since AP is the word (or acronym) of the month?

Still waiting to send in my redemption paperwork because my dealer still has not received Sabine Pass which would complete my order requirements. I am worried that it won't arrive in time for me to get my redemption paperwork turned in by 1/8/2010.

I don't want to buy a different piece just to satisfy the requirements.

Randall, just pre-pay your dealer for the Sabine and get a receipt to send in with your paperwork..

I trust you have dealt with the dealer a lot so you wouldn't be taking any chance paying ahead for the lighthouse.

Still waiting for Sabine Pass to come in to my dealer. Paid for it, but you need the edition number of each piece you purchase for the redemption. Hope it comes soon.

Anyone know how long should it take for the Jordan Point to be shipped? I mailed my paperwork in the first of November.

When I talked to Patty at HLs the last time, she indicated the Jordan Points should arrive sometime late January to early February at HLs. Nothing is in concrete to her estimate.

I was hoping we'd have it by Christmas, but will enjoy it whenever it arrives!
