I was in one of our local Harbour Lights dealers today and noticed that they had the corrected version of the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse in stock with the railing all the way around the building instead of being connected to the tower. Now its an improved "WOW". Of course I'm just a little bit biased. [This message has been edited by TheLightkeeper (edited 12-10-99).]

NICE SIGNATURE Mike!
So what number was the piece? We'd like to know where the 'modification' was made.

I didn't check the number, but the modification is on the front of the piece where the railing was attached to the tower. The railing is no longer attached to the tower. It is now one continuous railing like it is on the real lighthouse. "TheLightkeeper"

I made a note from a previous discussion that said the first 4000 had the "broken" rail. But having had the opportunity to visit "the real thing" more than makes up for my inacurate HL!

FYI, Mine is #3987 and it has the "broken" railing at the tower so it looks like #4000 would be valid. Regards,
