Unfortunately, a small-time hacker has invaded the premises of Lighthousing.net. They've sent out a mass email via the admin account to download a file, which obviously contains a virus.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FILE! DELETE THE EMAIL IMMEDIATELY.

Lighthousing.net hasn't and WILL NEVER send an email out regarding things of this nature. Only Lighthouse-related messages go out in mass form, and even those are few and far between.

The hearty server admins that host the site are working the issue and will hopefully have everything restored back to normal soon. Thanks for your patience, and I apologize for the unwanted spam and bother.

Thanks for the warning. No harm, no foul. I think most of us would have been cautious enough not to follow the instructions without checking out the site first.

I don't recall receiving any email from that site. I must say I'm having great results with the anti-virus protection provided by AOL for about three bucks a month. It automatically upgrades itself almost daily from what I've seen. It's amazing how much "crap" tries to get through.
