Here's some reading for those new to these forums and wondering what the heck it means to be a WACKO.

HAL - a compendium of 'insider' terms and anacronyms:

Is tossing around acronyms enough? Lessee, maybe we can offer certification! (The true Wacko is always ready to test his/her mettle.)

How about a Certificate Of Wackology (C.O.W). Rest assured, your COW sheepskin and a VISA card will guarantee you a spot at all BY/NY signing events. New worlds await!

Would a Wacko in Training be a WIT?

Yeh, and someone who collects and swears they won't become a WACKO would be a:

N.I.T. W.I.T.
Never Intended To (be) a WACKO In Training

A novice wacko who chose to not seek the guidance of an older experienced wacko (OE Wacko) would possibly be a "Do it Myself Wacko in Training" more easily referred to as a DIM WIT.

(too many years in military makes one live for acronyms)

So using this line of reasoning would describe me as a:
(H)arbour Lights
(A)ficionado
(L)imited by
(F)unds
(W)acko
(I)n
(T)raining

Bravo, Bravo!

Ever so witty we all truly are----
NIT WITS
DIM WITS
HALF WITS
PEE WITS

Dave (kind of a half nit wit)

Since most of the WITS are used up, I'll have to use a slight variation:

DEW IT
(Dangerously Extreme Wacko In Training)

For those who start their Wackodom by visiting 20 dealers and purchasing 25+ lights in their first week as a collector.

AKA: YoungPaulWacko

Rod,
Being an architect were you able to write those 25 architectural wonders off as a business expense? Or had you just won a lottery jackpot??

If you're going to go over the edge might as well make it a spectacular jump! I'm jealous (or maybe still holding onto a little more sanity than some).

Bringing this "Golden Oldie" onto the radar screen again after almost 5 years in the oil storage room at The Fog Signal Building. Enjoy.

Found it when I was searching for the original "Bob Younger" post. Someone must have that bookmarked. HELP!

We miss St. Tim not being around as much as in the past.
