Has anyone noticed on E-bay that with the exception of Hatteras an a few other older models a broken Harbour Light is worthless, looks like you could get more for it at a yard sale.

It would have been easier to sell a damaged/defective HL in the past then it is now. If a collector needed a particular HL he or she might buy a damaged one, as long as the damage wasn't too obvious.

Now so many hard to find pieces are becoming available at affordable prices. There is no need to buy a damaged one.
